The power-purchase agreement will be for a 12-year period.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Rocksprings Wind Farm is Akuo Energy\u2019s first project under construction in the United States, and we look forward to continued collaboration with sustainable minded companies like Walmart,\u201d said Thomas Cote, CEO of Akuo Energy USA. \u201cCorporations across America should take note of the leadership and vision displayed by Walmart in implementing this renewable energy strategy\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Akuo Energy has a portfolio of wind energy development projects totalling over 1,000MW in the United States.
