{"id":2981,"date":"2015-05-19T03:59:32","date_gmt":"2015-05-19T03:59:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cleanenergyworld.net\/index.php\/2015\/05\/19\/hanwha-q-cells-golden-square-start-operating-two-uk-solar-projects\/"},"modified":"2015-05-19T03:59:32","modified_gmt":"2015-05-19T03:59:32","slug":"hanwha-q-cells-golden-square-start-operating-two-uk-solar-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cleanenergyworld.net\/index.php\/2015\/05\/19\/hanwha-q-cells-golden-square-start-operating-two-uk-solar-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Hanwha Q CELLS, Golden Square Start Operating Two UK Solar Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hanwha Q CELLS Co. and its development partner Golden Square Energy have started operating two solar projects with a combined capacity of 45.2 megawatts near Cambridge in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>After having received planning consent for the 20.4-MW Fenland Farm and the 28.4-MW Green End PV parks in November 2014 and December 2014 respectively, construction and grid connection of both projects took place in the first quarter of 2015, in time to operate under the 1.4 ROC scheme.<\/p>\n<p>GSE is a joint venture between AG Renewables and Ingenious Clean Energy and was established in 2014 with a view to developing and managing a significant portfolio of renewable projects. GSE led the development of both the Fenland Farm and the Green End project.<\/p>\n<p>Hanwha was responsible for the construction of the projects, and supplied its solar modules.
