It will supply around 320,000 German households with electricity.<\/p>\n<p>Siemens is also providing service and maintenance for the turbines for an initial period of 10 years. Borkum Riffgrund 1 has been developed and constructed by Dong Energy with its partners Kirkbi Invest and William Demant Invest.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Borkum Riffgrund 1 is an impressive example of just how fast offshore installations can now be installed,\u201d said Dong Energy board of directors chairman Thomas Thune Andersen. &#8220;Borkum Riffgrund 1 is an impressive example of just how fast offshore installations can now be installed.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This translates into lower costs and is good news for consumers. We are currently building another two offshore wind projects and have a number of other projects in our pipeline that will allow us to demonstrate the skills and competences we have gained and will
