It consists of 37 wind turbines each with a unit capacity of 2MW. The power generated by this new facility is equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of around 15,000 homes and is supplied by Hydro-Qu\u00e9bec Distribution under a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement.<\/p>\n<p>The wind farms\u2019 operations and maintenance will be provided by EDF Renewable Services Inc. Canada, EDF Energies Nouvelles\u2019 subsidiary. Mont-Rothery is the final project in a 1GW programme of seven wind farms developed, built and commissioned by EDF EN Canada following competitive tenders held by Hydro-Qu\u00e9bec Distribution in 2008
