Infigen Energy<\/a> and Vestas <\/a>have signed fleet-wide long-term service agreements for 557 MW of Vestas and Suzlon turbines. With the deal, Vestas will provide maintenance to Infigen’s entire operating fleet until the end of their design life, including all their Suzlon turbines.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The service agreements cover Infigen\u2019s entire operating wind portfolio comprising 368 MW Vestas turbines and 189 MW Suzlon <\/a>turbines across six sites in Australia. The order thus underlines Vestas\u2019 leading position within multi-brand services as well as its fleet-wide lifetime service commitment to its customers. The agreements are full-scope Active Output Management 5000 (AOM5000) service packages in which Vestas guarantees minimum yield-based availability. The agreements are effective from 1 January 2018 for a period of between 7 and 15 years, depending on the wind park.<\/p>\n

Vestas commenced servicing Infigen\u2019s Lake Bonney I wind Park when it was connected to the grid more than 12 years ago. Under the new agreements, Vestas is making a long-term commitment to Infigen to deliver optimal energy output across Infigen’s Vestas and Suzlon S88 fleet. The new contracts brings Vestas’ total Suzlon turbine servicing portfolio in Australia to 355 MW.<\/p>\n

Vestas has installed around 2 GW of turbines in Australia and will with the Infigen agreement service more than 2 GW in that market.
