First Solar will continue to hold a minority interest in the project, and will continue to operate and maintain it. The Lost Hills-Blackwell comprises two sites \u2013 the 20-MW Lost Hills and the 12-MW Blackwell projects\u2013 comprising a combined 308 acres of adjoining land in Kern County. The project consists of more than 454,000 of First Solar&#8217;s photovoltaic modules mounted on single-axis tracking tables.<\/p>\n<p>Construction of the project began in April 2014 and is expected to be completed soon. Power will be sold to Pacific Gas and Electric Company and Roseville Electric.
