{"id":9493,"date":"2015-05-01T00:58:15","date_gmt":"2015-05-01T00:58:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cleanenergyworld.net\/index.php\/2015\/05\/01\/enel-wins-brazilian-tender-for-90-wm-wind-farm\/"},"modified":"2015-05-01T00:58:15","modified_gmt":"2015-05-01T00:58:15","slug":"enel-wins-brazilian-tender-for-90-wm-wind-farm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cleanenergyworld.net\/index.php\/2015\/05\/01\/enel-wins-brazilian-tender-for-90-wm-wind-farm\/","title":{"rendered":"Enel Wins Brazilian Tender for 90-WM Wind Farm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Enel Green Power has been awarded the right to develop the 90-megawatt Cristalandia wind farm in a tender for renewable energy projects by the Brazilian government.<\/p>\n<p>Enel will sign 20-year power supply contracts with a pool of Brazilian electricity distribution companies that will be supplied with power produced by the project.\u00a0 The wind farm at Bahia State in north-eastern Brazil will cost US$190 million, and will be completed in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to announce the successful outcome of this tender, which brings us up to nearly 700 MW won in Brazilian wind power auctions since 2010,\u201d said Enel Green Power CEO Francesco Venturini. \u201cBrazil is a strategic country for us, one where we have built a diversified presence of wind, hydro and solar power and where we are making the most of our innovative approach to combine solar facilities with wind farms or hydropower plants in the same production site.
