Tata Capacity Exceeds 10.5 GW, As 15 MW Telangana Solar Plant Begins Operations

Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd, India’s largest renewable energy company has announced the start of commercial operations at its 15 MW solar plant in Telangana. The solar plant has been built over 80 acres of land and includes an 18 km transmission line. Sale of power from the plant has been tied up under a 25 year Power Purchase Agreement at a tariff of Rs. 5.72. Mr Rahul Shah, CEO, Tata Power Renewable Energy, said “The synchronisation of the 15 MW solar plant in Telangana marks a significant milestone in our drive to grow our portfolio of clean energy generation.

SkyPower Secures 200MW Projects In Rapidly Growing Indian Solar Energy Sector

The Agreement consolidates SkyPower’s advance in India, one of the fastest growing solar markets in the world.
