Banks Renewables will start work next month on the 15-megawatt Hook Moor Wind Farm in agricultural land in Leeds in the UK.
Hall Construction is the main contractor with turbines from Senvion, are scheduled to arrive on site in the autumn. Commissioning and testing work will be carried out once the turbines are in place. The project so expected to start operating at the end of this year.
The project, which will cost US$21 million, was approved in 2011, after an appeal.
