French project developer Solairedirect has secured Euros 254 million (US$295 million) funding for
photovoltaic plants in France, Chile and India.
BlackRock Inc. and HSH Nordbank provided Euros 168 million for 13 projects in southern France that have a combined capacity of 136.8 megawatts. The company said the projects are nearing completion.
The Inter-American Development Bank provided Euros 43.8 million for a 53.-8MW project in Atacama, Chile. Indian banks provided Euros 43 million for three projects in India with a combined capacity of 56MW.
