Fotowatio Renewable Ventures has started to install solar modules supplied by JA Solar Holdings Co. for the 70-megawatt Moree project in Australia.
The project is located 10 kilometres south of Moree, in northern New South Wales. The project is being financed by a US$102 million grant from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency and US$47 million of debt financing from the Clean Energy Finance Corp. Construction started late 2014, with the project due to start operating in early 2016.
The EPC Contractor for the project is Green Light Contractors Pty Ltd, a wholly owned local subsidiary of Elecnor.
