Innovative Solar Systems said it is ready to start construction of a 75-megawatt solar farm in Fayetteville, North Carolina after the project received all required approvals.
ISS said it is ready to break ground on the project after getting approvals for interconnection agreements, long term purchase power agreements, state, federal, and regulatory approvals for Innovative Solar 42, which will be constructed on approximately five hundred acres of farm land.
ISS is also negotiating with investment firms that are seeking to be the long term owner of this Solar Farm facility. “This project provides for a long term power-purchase agreement and a very flat, easy build site which makes this a financially attractive project for many potential buyers,” said John Green, CEO of ISS.
The company said the project could be completed this year.
