Apex Clean Energy has secured a power-purchase agreement with Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority for its 150-megawatt Grant Plains wind project.
“The addition of this 41.4 MW of wind-generated power allows OMPA to continue to grow our renewable energy portfolio for our 42 member cities across Oklahoma. The power purchase agreement gives OMPA the opportunity to increase our wind power portfolio from 100.2MW to 141.6MW in 2020 for our approximately 800 MW system. We are very pleased to be part of this Oklahoma project by Apex,” said David Osburn, general manager of OMPA.
The project is located in Grant County.
