Philippine developer Cordillera Hydroelectric Power Corp. has started construction of a 60-megawatt hydroelectric plant in the towns of Kibungan and Kapangan in Benguet City.
The plant will cost PHP$10 billion (US$225 million). Initial work to clear land has started. The project is only expected to be completed in 2019.
