Eon WindElectric Rebrands As One Wind to Focus on US Market

Canada’s Eon WindElectric has rebranded its corporate identity, including adopting a new company name, One Wind, to reflect the company’s focus, growth and expanding presence in the United States.

One Wind has secured its first major service contract in the US and will supply engineers and technicians for construction of a 165-MW wind farm in South Texas. The Cameron wind project is developed by Apex Clean Energy and comprises 55 turbines supplied by Acciona.

The wind farm is expected to be operational by the end of 2015, with turbines arriving on-site early in 2015,according to Apex.

“We are pleased to expand our presence in the US wind energy market and open an office in Texas to support our growing team there” said Paul Pynn, President of One Wind.

One Wind is a developer, constructor and operations and maintenance provider of wind farms.
