Foresight Solar Fund Ltd has completed the acquisition of a 37-megawatts solar project in Oxfordshire, England from RWE.
Financial details were not disclosed. The Kencot PV plant was built by Conergy, which will continue to operate it. The plant, located airfield in Oxfordshire, has been operating since last September and is qualified for the 1.4 Renewable Obligation Certificate.
Foresight said it is currently considering a number of acquisitions. It currently has 10 operational assets totalling 231MW.
