Intersolar North America – A Key Station For The Solar Express

This year, Bloomberg New Energy Finance reported a US $329 billion investment in renewable energies in 2015. It also stated that “global energy exhibitions such as Intersolar and ees exhibitions are experiencing high demand according to forecasted attendance numbers for the solar market”. GTM Research predicts a 119 percent increase for the US market in 2016; as around 16GW of solar output is due to be added to the 7.3GW installed in 2015.

Intersolar North America is the most attended and first major solar industry event of the year. It brings together thousands of solar professionals, industry leaders, press and key influencers to recharge and accelerate business goals through the end of the year and beyond. It unites people and companies from around the world with the aim of increasing the share of solar power in our energy supply. Registration information is available online. Now in its ninth year, the event is where industry decision-makers come to connect, share insights and show off their latest innovations. The show focuses on photovoltaics, energy storage systems, smart renewable energy, solar manufacturing and solar heating and cooling technologies.

Intersolar North America continues to return to San Francisco’s Moscone Center – right in the heart of technology innovation and groundbreaking energy policy work – to provide in excess of 17,000 attendees access to the industry’s largest network of innovators and thought leaders. In 2015, the event attracted 521 exhibitors, 17,835 visitors, 47 sessions, 200 speakers and 25 workshops.

The event is now co-located with SEMICON West and now ees North America. ees North America is the ideal location to meet the needs of a rapidly growing energy and battery storage market. Battery storage systems are currently on the rise. According to GTM Research, the number of energy storage systems installed last year, totaling 221MW, was greater than the combined output installed in 2013 and 2014. The US storage market, by contrast with 2014, grew by 243 percent. ees North America is the leading  international exhibition for batteries and energy storage systems.

Celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year, Intersolar’s Global exhibition and conference series locations include Munich, Mumbai, Sao Paulo, and launching this year, Dubai.
