Japanese trading house Mitsui & Co. has signed an agreement to acquire a 25% stake in Spanish wind-turbine tower and flange maker in Gonvarri Eolica SL for US$128 million.
The deal is expected to be finalised later this year. Mitsui said it plans to expand the Spanish company’s presence in key locations in Asia, Americas and the Europe.
