Indian clean energy project developer Orient Green Power Co. has brought online its 20-megawatt biomass cogeneration plant located at Kolhapur, Maharashtra.
The plant uses bagasse as its main fuel and supplies power to Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. The commissioning of the plant brings the company’s total biomass capacity to 106MW.
