UK renewable energy developer RES has won planning approval to set up a 7.5-megawatt solar project north of Tom Lane to the west of Duckmanton in Derbyshire.
The Arkwright solar project will be able to meet the average annual demand of more than 1,000 homes. Construction of the projects is expected to begin this summe, once planning conditions have been discharged.
