Japanese trading company Sumitomo has won a contract to supply two geothermal generation units to a project developed by Indonesia’s Pertamina Geothermal Energy.
Sumitomo, together with Indonesia’s Rekayasa Industri will supply the two 20-megawatt units to Pretmian’s plant at Lahendong. The steam turbines and power generators will be supplied will be supplied by Japan’s Fuji Electric Co.
The project is scheduled to start operating in mid-2017.
