Vestas Gets Order to Supply 200MW of Chinese Wind Farms

Vestas has received an order to supply wind turbines to two projects that have a combined 200 megawatts of capacity from China’s Hanas Group.

Vestas will supply its 2-MW turbines to the projects. The order includes two-year service contracts. Delivery and commissioning are expected in the second quarter of 2016. “We have been impressed by the performance of Vestas’ products and its global technological leadership in the industry,” said Ma Fuqiang, President of Hanas Group.

Hanas Group, headquartered in Yinchuan, capital of Ningxia in western China, is a well-known clean energy solutions provider committed to the country’s energy structure transformation. To date, it has purchased 600MW of turbines from Vestas for its various projects.
