India’s Welspun Renewables has started operating its 126-megawatt wind farm located in Pratapgarh district of Rajasthan.
The project is the largest in the company’s portfolio. It will generate 290 million units of clean energy and help mitigate 211,922 tonnes of carbon emissions annually. The company said the project cost 840 Indian crores to develop.
