Nordex Wins Turbine Deals From RES to Supply UK Wind Farms

Nordex has won two new contracts from UK wind developer RES to supply 17 turbines with a total capacity of 42.5 megawatts.

Nordex will be supplying 7 sets of its 2.5MW turbines for the Turncole wind farm in Essex. Delivery will start in July 2016, and the project is expected to start operating in January 2017.

For the Minnygap project located in Dumfries and Galloway in south-western Scotland, Nordex will likewise be supplying 10 sets of the same turbines from August of next year. The project will start operating in January 2017.
