Eurus Energy’s 42-MW Uruguayan Wind Project Starts Operating At Full Capacity

Eurus Energy’s 42-megawatt jointly-developed wind energy project in Minas in Uruguay has started operating at full capacity.

The Generation Eolica Minas plant is a joint venture between Eurus and Akuo Energy from France. The initial phase of the project started operating in 2013.

The project is installed with 14 wind turbines, each rated at 3MW that are supplied by Vestas. Output is sold to Administracióon Nacional de Usinas y Transmisiones Electricas.
