Japan’s Idemitsu said it is planning to develop a 5-megawatt geothermal power plant in Oita.
The binary geothermal plant will be located at the Takigami Office of Idemitsu Oita Geothermal Co., Ltd., its wholly-owned subsidiary. The project is due to start operating in 2017.
