SunEdison Inc. said it will develop 150 megawatts of solar power projects in the city of George Town in West Texas.
The company did not disclose the number of projects it will set up, but said the capacity will be offered for a 25-year period starting from 2016. SunEdison said that it plans to offer a stake in the projects to TerraForm Power once they are completed.
A power-purchase agreement will be signed with Georgetown Utility Systems.
