Vestas Wins 178MW of Contracts for Wind Project in Sweden and China

Wind turbine maker Vestas has scooped separate orders to supply 178 megawatts of projects in Sweden and China.

The Danish company will supply 33 set of its 3.3 –MW turbines for the 122-MW Sorby project developed by Allianz Capital Partners.  The project will be located in Ljusdal and Bollnas municipalities. Turbine delivery is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2016 with commissioning expected to start during the second quarter of 2016. The contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of the turbines.

In China, Vestas has secured an order for 24 sets of its 2.4-MW turbines, its third announced order in the country this year.

The order is from CGN (Anxi) Wind Power Co. Ltd. for its 48-MW Anxi Longmen project in the Fujian province. Deliveries for the project will start in the third quarter of 2015.
