Trina Solar Ltd. has won a contract to supply modules for a 9.9-megawatt project in Cocle province, central Panama.
The contract was awarded by Solarcentury, the project’s engineering, procurement and construction contractor. The project is developed by ECOSolar. It will use Trina’s 33,000 high-powered photovoltaic modules.
The system will be one of the largest solar farms in Panama connected to the grid and sold on the spot market once completed.
