Principal Solar Inc. has appointed Alpha Energy as its engineering, procurement and construction contractor for a 100-megawatts solar project in North Carolina.
Construction of the Principal Sunrise IV project at Cumberland County will start this month, with completion due at the end of 2015. A 15-year power purchase agreement with Duke Energy has been signed.
