Gamesa to Supply Turbines to 100-MW Chinese Wind Farm

Spanish wind turbine maker Gamesa has signed a contract with Hebei Construction & Investment Group to supply 100 megawatts to a wind farm in China.

Under the terms of the contract signed with HCIG, Gamesa will supply, install and commission 50 of its 2MW turbines at the Fengdianzhiqing wind farm, located in Zhangjiakou, in the province of Hebei. The turbines are due for delivery during the third quarter of 2015, while the wind farm is slated for commissioning the following quarter.

Gamesa has installed over 3,626MW in China and with close to 900MW under maintenance.
