This asymmetric design allows KAPower to experience a "Faradaic pseudo-capacitive behavior". In addition, unlike symmetric supercapacitors KAPower needs no internal cell balancing. KAPower's internal cells are self balancing. KAPower will provide reliable engine cranking for 15 to 20 years or upwards of 1,000,000 cycles.
