Lightsource Renewable Energy has secured financing for 76.4 megawatts of solar projects in the UK from Barclays.
The £76m (US$116 million) term facility will be used to refinance the 24.7-MW Abbots Ripton, 19.3-MW Mingay Farm and 32.4-MW Ermine Street projects that Octopus Investments acquired from developer Lightsource in April 2014.The refinancing includes a power-purchase agreement signed with npower.
