Munich Re has acquired 100% stake in three solar projects in the UK owned by BayWa AG.
Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed but Munich Re said they “were financed without borrowed funds, and the investment volume is in the double-digit euro millions.” The projects, located in the south-west of Wales, Cornwall and near Cambridge, have a combined capacity of 28 megawatts. All the projects started operating in 2014.
