Tata Power Renewable Energy, a unit of India’s Tata Power, has commissioned a 24-megawatt wind farm at Rojmal in Gujarat.
The total capacity of the project is 54MW. The Rojmal wind farm utilizes wind turbines from Inox Wind Ltd., and sells the power to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. under the Gujarat Wind Policy of year 2013.
The projects brings Tata Power’s operating wind-energy portfolio to 511MW. Its wind farms are located in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
