Wind turbine maker Vestas has won on order to supply and install 90 sets of its 2-megawatt turbines for a 180-MW farm in Brazil.
The company did not disclose the identity of the developer on the latter’s request, but said the project is located at Campo Formoso. Delivery of the wind turbines is due in the second quarter of 2016.
This brings Vesta’s total order book in 2015 to 939MW.
