Reliance Power to Develop 6,000MW of Solar Capacity in Rajasthan

India’s Reliance Power has signed an agreement with the state of Rajasthan to set up 6,000 megawatts of solar capacity by 2025.

The company, a unit of Reliance Industries Ltd., did not give further details. The announcement comes days after another Indian company, Adani Group, signed an agreement to set up a solar park with 10,000MW of capacity, also in Rajasthan.
