Quercus Assets Selection has secured financing from Macquarie Infrastructure Debt Investment Solutions for its 29-megawatt ground-mounted solar photovoltaic project in Pembrokeshire, Wales.
The £21.5 million (US$33 million) facility is split into index linked and fixed rate tranches. It will provide Quercus, a renewable energy infrastructure asset manager, with a 19-year financing, spanning both the construction and operational periods.
The project which comprises 113,000 solar panels has a 15-year power-purchase arrangement with Norwegian utility, Statkraft.
